| 1 | I can’t print the graph from the floppy disk or my hard drive that I downloaded my recordings in? You need to have the DLS software open to print the graph; you will only be able to print the text if the DLS software is closed | ||
| 2 | Computers
– Serial ports are male. Printer ports are female. To check to see what type and how may ports your computer has. Click on “my computer”, click “control panel”, click “ports”. If no ports are available, the computers “Bios” must be set. “Bios” – is a hardware configuration of the computer. |

| 3 | Calibrating, don’t calibrate by first reading off text, go by second reading in order for temperature to stabilize. Max + / - 5 F | ||
| 4 | Are the files transferable to Excel spread sheets? Yes | ||
| 1 | Can they be used on 3 phase? No, you need a DLAC / DLAV for each separate phase. | ||

| 3 | DLAC / DLAV / DLP – Readings of 98,000 volts, 90,000 amps or 100,000 psi or any unusual high values? There is a possibility that the internal calibration button has been pressed when a zero or near zero measurement is applied to the logger input. Contact Supco Engineering to restore the data logger calibration. | ||

Message “check cable do you want to try again” What version software do you have? Does the LED blink, if not remove battery & let it discharge for 1 or 2 minutes. Or check LPT1, make sure you are plugged into the right port. |

| 1 | Does it come with a sensor lead & will it sense both air & water? Yes, it comes with a 6 foot pressure sensor & it will sense both air & water. | ||
| 2 | Does the DLP measure Static Pressure? No, air vent pressure is to low to record. | ||

| 4 | Can the DLP be used to record Natural Gas or Combustible Gases? Yes it can. It uses a stainless steel type 17 pressure sensor. But do not use the logger to record Oxygen. | ||

| 1 | Operating range in the Supco catalog Edition 17 is wrong. Reads –32 F to 140F, should read +32 to 140F. 9 volt battery will not work below 32F & the DLTH will not record below 32F. | ||

| 5 | Error message “Cannot find data logger interface on LPT1”? Make sure cable is connected to the right port. If not, replace cable. | ||

will not recognize LPT1? Remove battery, let sit for 1 minute, re-install
battery. Close door on logger, if LED is blinking the unit is ok. Try again if it is still happening, replace Battery if unit still wont work. If still not working replace the logger. |

| 1 | How do you hook up the DL420 to measure data? There are two screw terminals to install any type of copper wire. | ||

to download data “Supco” window frozen on screen? The
short term fix for this is to click on “copyright” and hit the space bar. To permanently fix this problem you will have to update to the latest version of the DLS software. You can obtain the most current software free of charge from the Supco website (www.supco.com) Under customer support. |

if both are ok. Try on different PC. Their maybe certain PC’s
that the DLS is not compatible with. “OLE” error indicates Overseas Windows (Foreign), Supco Software is only compatible with USA Windows. |
