Do all alarms reset themselves after the alarm goes off? Yes | ||
| 2 | What will happen to the remote contacts if there is a loss of power? They will open. | ||

What
type of sensors are used on the temperature alarms? TA2 & TA6 use a silicone diode. TA3 & TA4 use a type J thermocouple. TAP4 & TA7 use a thermistor. |

| 1 | Did
the older version have both a delay & no delay feature? The older version has a 1-hour delay only (October 1989). A resistor could be cut to make it a no delay. The older version is a leaded version, where the new version is surface mounted. |

Does
the alarm have a set of dry contacts for a remote alarm or phone dialer? Yes, all of the TA temperature alarms have remote connections to accommodate a remote alarm or phone dialer. With the exception of the battery operated TA7. |

Is
the alarm UL approved? No, at the present time none of the TA temperature alarms are UL approved. In the future Supco may incorporate a transformer in all of its temperature alarms to conform to UL standards. |

is the current draw? 150 ma. If using one TA2 use a 50 VA step down transformer.
When using three TA2 use a 75 VA step down transformer. |

| 1 | TA3-220C - Is its 50/60 HZ? Yes | ||
| 2 | Is the 9 - volt battery rechargeable and is there a built in battery charger? No it is a standard 9 - volt battery. The old style TA3 had a resistor and acted as a trickle charge, this is no longer used. | ||
| 3 | When wiring seven TA3 in parallel, what is the amp draw of each alarm? 1-1/2 watts per alarm. | ||

the light goes on do the contacts close? Yes, the contacts are normally open. |

receiver alarm is going off on red light and three transmitters are all
green? Unplug all 3 transmitters if unit still has an alarm, then the receiver is bad or something Sensing a bad signal. Also try different outlets. |
