Checking the Logger Status

Logger status can be checked in two ways: By pressing the START/CHECK button on the logger, or by selecting Status from the SL200Log software Logger menu.

Checking the status using the START/CHECK button

Pressing the logger START/CHECK button provides a limited indication of the current logger status. The indication is provided by the OK and ALARM LEDs. The following status is provided when the START/CHECK button is pressed:

1. Logging is starting: Both the OK and ALARM LEDs flash at the same time. This indicates that When the Start Button is Pressed on the Logger option was selected in the Logger Setup window, and since the button was just pressed, logging has started.

2. Waiting to start logging: the ALARM LED flashing, followed by the OK LED flashing, repeated 4 times. This indicates that logging has been initiated, but the first sample has not been recorded yet. This occurs when delayed logging is chosen, or when the logger is waiting to sample the first sample.

3. Logging in progress, no alarms occurred: The OK LED flashes 4 times.

4. Logging in progress, high or low alarms occurred: The ALARM LED flashes 4 times.
