Follow the procedure below to quickly start using your data logger.
1. Connect the logger to a free serial (COM) port on your computer.
2. From the Logger menu, select Set Clock…. Click the Use Windows Clock option, then click the OK button.
3. From the Logger menu, select Setup…. Click the OK button on the warning message.
4. Click the Setup Logger button to start logging with the default settings.
5. From the Logger menu, select Status. This will open a window that shows you the current logging information.
6. When two samples are collected (Samples recorded during this session will indicate 2 samples), select Get Data from the Logger menu. A graph and a data samples should be displayed for the samples recorded.
If you get the data from the logger before at least two samples were collected, the graph and/or the data windows will be empty.
